For the Lost by mishelly88 For the Lost by mishelly88
**Please do not use her or post this anywhere else without my permission**

A picture I started earlier this year for everyone who lost someone this year, including me. We had very sad begining to the year, and my feelings for all the tragities went into this picture...I hope you all can feel that in some way whilst looking at it.
Even though it was a roughly done picture I put a lot into this.
I hope next year is filled with less tragity and more happiness.

Thankyou for looking.

For the Lost by *mishelly88 serves as a reminder that those that we have lost still live in our hearts. The colours and the composition set the perfect mood for remembrance. ( Featured by rydi1689 )

I know you probably get a whole lot of comments on your works and don't have time to thoroughly read them all, but I write music. I'm starting up a new project very soon where I take art from dA that inspires me and write a piece of music to match it, almost like film score for still images. Of all the pieces of art that I've favourited and stored, I can actually hear music to this one and I can really connect with it. May I use it in my project? I'd write a piece of music, then stick it and the picture on youtube (and of course include links to your dA account and any other website related to your work that this picture is on). I totally understand if you don't want me to but it would be super cool if I could. This is one of the pieces of art that I could hear most!

You'd be surprised to hear that I do read all my comments and reply when I get the chance then :) I try my hardest because everyone puts effort into writing them.
That's a beautiful idea, and I'm honored that you would be able to write music to my artwork. I'd be more then happy to allow you to use my artwork...just as long as you show me :D
Thankyou very much!

Of course! Be warned that it'll probably take me a while to do. Out of all the art I've favorited, I can hear the music for this piece most clearly. Are there any other links you want me to incline besides your deviantART account?

This picture is so beautiful! It has such a nice composition and the lanterns really make the piece. I really like how they glow and illuminate the water. Great job!

Thankyou very much! It seemed so rushed at the time, but I think that was the way it needed to be for it to work out like this :3

This is such a soulful piece; the contrast yet harmony b/w speeded digital brushwork (Most of the water background, sakura petals & soft lanterns) and lined, crisp forms (The silver-haired character and her smooth yet firm curves, skirt folds gently floating b/w water and surface) is what gives this artwork a near organic feel and in addition with her sombre expression underscores the introspect and the spiritual. :star::heart::star:
